Cascading Shapes Earrings Workshop - March 16th 5-7pm

In this workshop we will be learning how to make leather earrings using a “Sandwiching” technique. 
 
You will arrive to a buffet of small geometric colourful leather shapes, punched out from pre-painted leather scraps. After selecting your shapes, I will be teaching you step by step how to sandwich the leather shapes around lengths of fine chain, and assembling them into elegant earrings. You’ll be able to choose between making your earrings hanging from studs or hooks and we’ll be providing an array of brass charms to dangle from the bottoms of your designs if you wish. 
 
Participants will be able to make 2-3 pairs, depending on how much chain you’d like to use for each pair. 
 
No prior experience is needed for this workshop. This workshop may be suitable for children 10 and up, or with a reasonable level of manual dexterity. Parental supervision required.

We do not offer refunds for workshops, but can issue you a credit for a future workshop or our online shop (minus a $10 admin fee) if cancelled with more than 48 hours before the workshop
When possible, we ask that you try to sell or gift your workshop ticket to a friend or acquaintance if you can’t make it! It’s just me (Jamie) managing the bookings, preparing all the materials in the couple days before a workshop. Re-advertising for cancelled spots is extra challenging in those last days of prep, and any effort to take it upon yourself to pass along your ticket if you can’t make it would be greatly appreciated!
